Fun Stuff

Alex was quite the little princess on Sunday. We went and saw Disney on Ice-Princess Wishes. She was quite mesmerized by it. She and several hundred other little girls were dressed in their finest. I got Alex's Cinderella dress (along with 3 others) for $1 at a church sale the previous weekend-perfect timing.
WARNING-This entry will be filled with bargain hunting successes

Alex's tea partys have advanced to a more formal affair. She's inviting more guests, Dolly and Momma Bear and Baby Bear on this afternoon and also requiring all guests to wear hats (including me). I'm waiting for the white gloves.

The trains have arrived at the station. I struck gold at a garage sale and Alex now has more trains and tracks than either of us know what to do with. This sale of course came the day after we got a package delivered of a bunch of trains I ordered on-line at mega discount. (Those sets will now be waiting till Christmas) Now I just need to find a boy about 4 years old so he can show me how to configure the track. In case your wondering "Where in the heck did that put that table"-the library is now the library/game room. All the board games, train table and dollhouse have moved upstairs. I'm trying to give Dada his ManCave in the family room.

The ball pit has been getting a lot of use lately. Not only does Alex have a blast, but the cat loves chasing the balls that escape.

Bath time is always a good time

Who knew there were so many fun places for kids to get their hair cut. Alex's first cut was on MainStreet USA at Disney World. Her second cut was at a local spot called Snip-Its-its like walking into a 3-D cartoon. They did a great job (bangs a little crooked, but hey). She didnt fuss at all and even seemed to have fun.

The last bargain to be mentioned. Alex LOVES YoGos and the dollar store had them so we stocked up. Alex decided to take it upon herself to remove them all from the bag and hold on to them for safe keeping.
