Christmas in July

Just a heads up-I'm going to try and update her wishlist this week in case theres anyone who shops ahead like I do (nobody shops ahead like I do according to Troy, but just in case). The wishlist can be found by looking at her profile which is over to the right at the top. Click on wishlist and on the left side it will have a place to enter an email to search for a wishlist. Just put in my email and it should pop up. Again remember, you'll probably want to look around whether online or BM to find the best price. I'm just going to list the item at the first place I find it. I'm lucky if Alex gives me enough time to do that.

Bugs

Alex is getting into bugs lately so we went to Faust Park on Saturday. She had a blast! We started with the Carousel and rode that several times. She loves to pet her horse. We then went into the Butterfly House. There were hundreds of butterflies flying around. She was so excited pointing to them all and saying how pretty they were and how they tickled her when they flew past. She got to do some crafts there and was really hamming it up for the girls helping. We then went to the playground to climb, slide and swing for awhile. She could swing for hours. We finished the day off by checking out the ducks. She thought it was pretty funny when they went under water with just their butts sticking up-she is her fathers daughter.

Where Does the Time Go

Sorry its been so long since I've posted. Everyone's probably given up checking the site by now. We've just been busy, busy, busy and the summer is flying by. She's got a busy schedule going-We were going to a summer Camp at the Early Childhood Center, but thats now ended. Alex really enjoyed it. They did outside playtime and singing, dancing, storytime and snacks, and crafts which she really enjoyed. Tuesdays we sometimes do Storytime at the bookstore. On Wednesday Alex has moved up in her Gymboree class to level 6 with Miss Suzie who she really likes and hearing her say "Suzie" is just adorable. She loves stopping at Panera for a chocolate chip muffie before each class. Thursday is free movie day at the Mall, she's seen Clifford the Big Red Dog, Doogal, and Charlottes Web so far-this week is Happy Feet so that will be fun. Even though Charolottes Web was 3 weeks ago, if you mention it, she'll immediatly tell you that the horse fell down and the rat was stinky (it apparently made quit the impression). Friday is sometimes art class at Gymbo or more often a trip to the Zoo. Satuday is Gymbo and Sunday is rest. Throw in swimming at the pool, trips to the zoo, garden, grants farm and a ton of playing with dolls and animals thats what we've been up to. Alex loves watching Maisy Mouse, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and "those crazy boys" on the Upside Down show. She loves reading stories about princesses (she seems primed for the next Disney World trip). Her favorite toys are her animals, and little people, littlest pet shops, disney castle, maisy games, hello kitty, and her baby dolls. She still LOVES to have tea parties.Shes still very shy but she does well playing with other kids and shes warming up to people quicker. She's talking alot, picks up on every little thing and her imagination has gone wild. Her latest thing is catching imaginary fish. And I hate to say it, but I'm raising a cat lover, she doesnt just tolerate the cat, she LOVES the cat maybe even more than the dog. I know its a short update, but its time for bed. I'll add more photos later in the week and I promise to update at least once a week from here on out
