Zoo

We've spent lots of time at the zoo. Its always a great location for a playdate with Mary (and Eva too). they have an Imagination Station kids area that she absolutly loves. Its limited to 45 minute sessions, otherwise she could be in there all day. We've been visiting the zoo nearly every weekend lately, catching the sea lion show before it ends for the year. She was rather bummed last week and only stayed for half the show cause it was the second string sea lions (benny and the boys). Its just not a sea lion show with out Elaine (nick name of Emmie-wink wink), Rosie and the big boy-Alex. I think she just about cried with joy when they came on stage last time and shes counting the years until she's old enough to be sea lion trainer for a day.

Summer Time

End of summer is a time for festivals and fun and we did plenty of that. We saw Disney on Ice which made Alex very excited for the upcoming annual WDW trip. She had a blast at the Bubble Picnic at her school. We went to the Manchester homecoming days where Alex had a blast riding ponies and carnival rides-she's pretty fearless. We hit the local train store where Alex had fun playing with tons of trains (even though she had to share with boys-yuck) but her favorite was decorating train cookies-sprinkles rule! The carousel had pirate days so Alex dressed as a pirate girl with her faithful companion Emmie the sea lion and went on a treasure hunt.

Family

Alex got to go to Michigan and spend time with family this summer. she especially liked spending time with her cousins, both old and new.
