Beautiful Zoo Days

As usually, we've had some beautiful 70 degree days to enjoy this fall. We spent a wonderful afternoon at the zoo. We were at the sea lion basin for about 45 minutes and watched them getting fed. Then it was another 45 minutes at the primate house. The sifaka was sleeping so that was a bummer, but she found a little black lemur to befriend instead. The Sifakas outside we're very active, enjoying lunch in the sun. I love to see that total look of joy on her face when she makes a connection with an animal. I'm definetly going to have to increase our zoo friend membership level next year!

Updates and Comments

Sorry I've been behind on updates lately. She is one busy kid and therefore I'm one busy Mom. But I'm going to try and keep up with it more, but I could use a little encouragement. If, When you read the blog, if you could go below the post to the "post Comment" text and leave a little comment-that would be nice. I have it set up that the comments wont post to the blog, just me will see them. It gets a little lonely in blogdom and it would be nice to know if anyone is looking at what I'm doing. Plus I'm sure Alex would love to know what you have to say about what she's doing.

Holiday WishList

I've updated Alex's Holiday Wishlist for 2009. Just click on the "View Profile" text over there to the right, then click on WishList and then enter my email address (nnejabari@yahoo.com). Target and Toys R Us both have items on her list on sale this week. The Bella Sara cards can be any of the decks, not just the one pictured, she collects them all. Same with the Jungle in my Pocket. She's interested in the Jungle, Puppy, Kitty, Pony-basically anything In My Pocket, the sets start at around $4 and Marshalls and TJ Maxx have some as well. Bath stuff is always fun. She's pretty much set for clothes but just in case-she's a size 5 for most things, undies and tights are a size 4/5 and shoes are an 11. She can always use cute leggings or legwarmers. She loves to dress fancy-TJ/Marshalls has the "Cinderella" brand dresses that have matching doll dresses-she thinks those are way cool. Any questions, just ask.
